Bound by a shared love for heritage textiles and the stories they carry, our founder—Prabhav Chopra—set out on a journey through Punjab, the land where Phulkari embroidery was born. Once lovingly hand-embroidered by women as part of their family traditions, Phulkari carries the pride, emotions, and artistry of generations. Today, while the craft has evolved with changing times and modern techniques, the essence of Phulkari remains deeply rooted in its cultural significance.
Yet, what he found was both humbling and heartbreaking—a vibrant tradition slowly fading, its intricate patterns and vivid hues becoming rare. The heirloom Phulkaris we remember from our grandmothers’ collections seemed almost lost to time.
